What is Hypnosis?

Clinical Hypnosis is a tool to help change behaviors or behavioral patterns. It does this by working with the unconscience part of the mind. The part of the mind where memories, behaviors and habits are stored. Hypnosis is a form of therapy that allows permitted desires and changes to occur within you, the individual.

The classic definition of  Hypnosis is that it is "a trance state characterized by extreme suggestibility, relaxation and heightened imagination”. It has  been defined as “a state of deep mental and physical relaxation”.

Clinical Hypnosis is not the Stage Hypnosis that many are familiar with. Clinical Hypnosis doesn’t make people act in silly ways. Hypnosis is NOT mind control. It does NOT allow you to do things that go against your ethics, your morals or allow you do to something that goes against your character. Clinical Hypnosis is a theraputic tool that assists you in reaching your goals in a safe and secure environment. You are always in Control. In fact,

Clinical Hypnosis is 90% you and 10% the therapist.
